We spent Labor Day weekend at a cabin on Butternut Lake which is a lake in Northern Wisconsin not to far from Eagle River.

Here are some photos I took of the lake near our cabin.

The first of several hikes we took was to Franklin Nature trail it was a short one-mile loop trail. At one point in gave us a nice view of Butternut Lake looking back in the direction of our cabin.

In the evenings we were treated to the call of Loons on the lake. I was able to get a picture of a Loon, although I had to crop in quite a bit which degraded the quality of the image. Here is that image.

We also took a hike on the Anvil trail system which was just a few miles from our cabin. I was able to get a couple more nice mushroom shots on this hike.
